Akatsuki means “Dawn” and it is the name of a secret organization which consists of 9 S-ranked missing nin (including Orochimaru as a former member). their main objective is to collect the Bijuu and turn themselves as Jinchuuriki to rule the world. each Akatsuki member wears a ring, inscribed with the first kanji related to the nine mythical beasts in Japanese mythology, including the four Kyoto guardian gods (shijin).

The HOKAGE’S of Konoha

Senju Hashirama
Title : Shodaime (1st Hokage)
Age : ? (deceased)
the founder of Konohagakure and grandfather of Tsunade-hime. well known for his incredible skill in using wood element (mokuton) and the only person who was able to control Bijuu. the past of Hashirama was revealed by Uchiha Madara a.k.a. Tobi from Akatsuki. Senju was the most powerful and feared clan, there was only one who could compete them i.e. Uchiha clan. Hashirama asked Uchiha to make peace and build a village together. the village then known as Konohagakure. yet it was only a trick from Senju to get rid off Uchiha clan for good. the genocide of Uchiha clan was probably the highest top secret of Konoha. later, he was resurrected by Orochimaru during the battle with Sandaime.
Senju Tobirama
Title : Nidaime (2nd Hokage)
Age : ? (deceased)
the lil brother of Shodaime and late Sandaime’s teacher.
yet not much to say about him but his skill in using the water element sui). he was appointed as Nidaime to keep the trust of Konoha people for Senju clan. he was later resurrected together with Shodaime by Orochimaru.
Sarutobi Hiruzen
Title : Sandaime (3rd Hokage and Professor)
Age : 68 (Feb 8, deceased)
maybe the most long-lived hokage. though he had once retired and handed over his position, he endured to live after the Yondaime’s death. Sandaime was disagree with the elders about Uchiha genocide yet he could do nothing bout it. known as the strongest of all, he gained the title of “Professor.” Sandaime traded his life to a demon in order to protect Konoha from his former bastardized student, Orochimaru. Sandaime died honorably and left a grandson named Konohamaru.
Namikaze Minato
Title : Yondaime (4th Hokage and Konoha no Kiiro Senkou)
B’ day : Jan 25 (deceased)
the most adorable hokage ever and the biological father of Naruto. also known as the Konoha Yellow Flash due to his incredible high speed body flicking. the lil Yondaime was trained by Jiraiya and he also learned Rasengan but it took 3 years for him to complete the jutsu. Yondaime is a figure of a good team leader, he taken care of his underlings very well. it’s a pity he died at a young age because he used the forbidden jutsu to seal Kyuubi inside a newborn baby, Naruto, who’s none other than his own son with a kunoichi named Uzumaki Kushina, yet Naruto seems not notice about it. in Kakashi Gaiden, Yondaime led his team which consisted of Kakashi, Obito and Rin into a sabotage mission during a great turmoil which known as The Third Secret World War.
Tsunade
Title : Godaime (5th Hokage and Slug Hermit)
Age : 56 (Aug 2)
one of the legendary Sannin, along with Jiraiya and Orochimaru. she may not appeared as old as she should be and she’s the hottest of all (mind her real big bust). Tsunade-hime is the granddaughter of Shodaime and disciple of Sandaime. she has an extreme strength and mastered excellent medical skill. the reason why Orochimaru looked for her was to heal his paralyzed arms. Orochimaru offered her something in return i.e. the lives of her late lil bro, Nawaki and her lover, Dan. thank god she didn’t take the offer and chose to become the 5th Hokage. Tsunade has a brilliant assistant named Shizune and a pig pet, Tonton.
The Hidden Villages

here we will talk about Naruto’s world setting. firstly, there’s something basic to know that Naruto’s world consists of big 5 countries (kuni) i.e. Hi (fire), Mizu (water), Kaze (wind), Rai (lightning), and Tsuchi (earth). each country has at least one hidden village, such as Konohagakure (hidden leaf) in Hi no Kuni, Sunagakure (hidden sand) in Kaze no Kuni, Kirigakure (hidden mist) in Mizu no Kuni, and many other minor hidden villages. each village also has a leader i.e. Hokage, Mizukage, Kazekage, Raikage, and Tsuchikage. however, due to lack of space (as always ^^”) we will explain the major hidden villages only.
Konoha Gakure
Country : Hi (Fire)
Hidden Village : Konoha (leaf)
Leader : Hokage (Tsunade)
the strongest and most prosperous country of all. this is where our heroes lived. Konohagakure is famed for their brave shinobi, esp. the Hokage. the most distinctive landmark is a hill where the faces of Hokage were carved on (doesn’t it remind you to Mt. Rushmore?) this village has a ninja academy, ramenya (where Naruto usually hangs up), onzen (where Jiraiya peeps), yakinikuya (Chouji’s fave place), hanaya (Ino’s flowershop), hospital, shrine, etc.
Suna Gakure
Country : Kaze (Wind)
Hidden Village : Suna (sand)
Leader : Kazekage (Gaara)
this humble country is Konoha ally. yet because of the alliance treaty Sunagakure lost a lot of incomes and turn destitute. Orochimaru took this advantage and persuaded Kazekage to betray the treaty and annihilate Konoha to eternity. the best trio suna shinobi: Gaara, Kankurou and Temari were assigned for this job. yet eventually they found out Orochimaru had killed Kazekage and fled away. then Sunagakure reconciled with Konohagakure.
Kumo Gakure
Country : Rai (Lightning)
Hidden Village : Kumogakure (Clouds)
Leader : Raikage
Kumogakure is introduced after the battle of Taka team (Sasuke cs) vs Hachibi (Killer Bee). Lies hidden behind the clouds and hills, Kumogakure remains a peaceful place until Akatsuki came to abduct Yugito, the Nichibi jinchuuriki. this village seems to have a unique character i.e. populated mostly by tanned-skin people (if u dun wanna call em dark or black). Led by the almighty Raikage, Kumogakure also has strong shinobi such as Samui, Omoi, and Karui.
Nami Gakure
Country : Mizu (water)
Hidden Villages : Nami (wave), Kiri (mist), Ame (rain), Taki (waterfall)
Leader : Mizukage
Namigakure is where Naruto-gumi had their first mission outside their homeland. in this village they met Zabuza (a missing nin from Kirigakure) and Haku (a pretty boy from Yuki no Kuni). the mission was done successfully and Naruto became a true hero! meanwhile, Kirigakure is famed for their strong military forces and S-class rated missing nin (Hoshigaki Kisame). Amegakure, on the other side, is actually the hiding place of the infamous Akatsuki’s leader, Pain and Konan.
Oto Gakure
Country : Ta (Rice field : anime version)
Hidden Village : Oto (sound)
Leader : Orochimaru
a real ‘hidden’ village since its exact location is not known yet. rather than a village, Otogakure is a secret underground residence in an unknown forest. this hidden village was founded by Orochimaru himself, for his sordid mission of course. Orochimaru gathered many strong shinobi and cast the curse seals upon them. the curse seals make them stronger yet helplessly bond to him.
